Notice 12/14/23: The purpose of this notification is to inform you that based on the Los Angeles County definition of “close contact,” you may have been exposed to COVID-19 if you were in attendance at the City of Burbank, cake cutting ceremony at the City Hall Rotunda, and the Council Meeting in City Hall Council Chambers on Tuesday, December 12, 2023. “Close contact” means sharing the same indoor airspace with someone with COVID-19 for a total of 15 minutes or more in a 24-hour period during the contagious period.
Effective March 4, 2022,  vaccine verification and mask mandates for indoor settings is no longer required for most indoor settings.

Need a COVID Test? President Biden has made 4 free At-Home Test Kits available for every residential address within the United States. Please visit COVIDTests.gov to order yours.

Proof of COVID-19 Vaccine and/or Proof of Negative COVID-19 Test is no longer required to enter most indoor settings. 

Vaccine verification or a negative test will still be required for people attending indoor mega-events of 1,000 people or more, and at health care facilities and congregate care facilities.

Effective March 4, masks are no longer required at most indoor settings for both the vaccinated and unvaccinated. LA County will still be requiring masks – regardless of vaccination status – for everyone on public transit, emergency shelters, health care settings, correctional detention facilities, homeless shelters, and long-term care facilities.

Effective March 14th, Burbank Unified School District will follow State and County guidance and no longer require students to wear masks. More information available on the BUSD website.
