The Downtown San Fernando Boulevard Reconfiguration Project, Phase 1, is one of the priority projects listed in the Complete Streets Plan’s implementation strategy. The purpose of this project is to improve multimodal transportation safety along San Fernando Blvd., between Olive Ave. and Magnolia Blvd., while preserving commercial activity in the City’s Downtown area, and ensuring safe access for all. Phase 1 of this project will consist of a 12-month pilot program “quick-build” treatment with the reconfiguration design guided by community input and feedback.
